Here Are the 300 Best Employers in Canada for 2023

Forbes.com has released its 2023 list of the top 300 best places to work in Canada. This ranking was based on the results of a national survey of 12,000 people working in Canada at companies with at least 500 employees which was conducted by Forbes and Statista. The Canadians who participated anonymously in the survey were asked to evaluate their employer based on factors such as work-life balance, working conditions, potential for advancement within the company, and the likelihood that they would recommend that their family and friends work in Canada for that particular employer. Survey participants also had the option to recommend a different employer instead of the one they were working for. Overall, the 12,000 survey participants evaluated 2,900 employers in Canada and then Forbes.com published the top 300. According to the survey results, the #1 best place to work in Canada in 2023 is Sheridan College, which is located in Oakville, Ontario, and has 3,380 employees.  Second place went to the Canadian Mental Health Association in Toronto, Ontario, which employs 5,000 workers. A Canadian restaurant chain, The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, has 10,400 employees and is based in Richmond, British Columbia. The rest of the top 10 best places to work in Canada include: #4 Ericsson; #5 Export Development Canada; #6 Carleton University; #7 Hydro-Quebec; #8 Cisco Systems; #9 Microsoft; and #10 OpenText.
